The number of homes sold in November 2021 through the Sault Ste Marie Real Estate Board totaled 167 units, which was an increase of 20.1% from November 2020, a new sales record for the month of November!

For this year-to-date, homes sales totaled a record 2,278 units, which is an increase of 38.1% from the same period in 2020.

The average price of homes sold in November 2021 was $271,408, an increase of 24.2% from November 2020. The year-to-date average price was $268,145. This is up by 29.5% from the first 11 months of 2020.

Active residential listings numbered 132 units, quite a large decline of 48% from November 2020. The number of active listings hasn't been this low in November in more than three decades.

Months of inventory (the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity) was 0.8 at the end of November 2021, down from the 1.8 months for November 2020.
